50% Recycled P.C.W. Adhesive Book Covers

E-Lam are always looking at new ways in the manufacture of book covering material.

In 2022 we paved the way here in our ORGANIC products range which is made from Sugarcane fiber- a sustainable , plant based and renewable carbon neutral product. This has proven to be very popular with us and is sold worldwide now from Library Suppliers to end users.

In 2024 we are now delighted to be able to offer our customers another alternative solution to covering paperback books with self adhesive book covers.

50/50 is made from 50% PCW (Post Consumer Waste) coupled with 50% Polyethylene for enhanced durability. Post-consumer waste, or PCW, is material that has served its intended purpose as a consumer item, and has then been separated from other material, which is to be disposed of. Post-consumer waste has completed its life cycle as a consumer item and can now be recycled and reused. In this case they now are part of the 50/50 Adhesive Book Covers from E-Lam.

Whilst every effort is made to make it as clear as possible as there is PCW in this product you will notice that it it highly transparent but not translucent.

50/50 is 90 Micron in thickness and is available in various sizes to suit your needs from small readers to large format books.
